Privacy Policy

1. Who this Service is for

The Service has two uses:

• Homeowners request a renovation estimate. No account or login is required; a temporary guest session is created automatically so you can track the status of your request. You provide your contact details and document your space, and we prepare an estimate.
• Tepui team members capture project details in the field. Team members sign in with credentials issued by Tepui; the Service does not create consumer accounts.

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. See Section 9.

2. Information we collect

We only collect what you provide and what is needed to prepare your estimate.

Contact information you give us: name, email address, phone number, property/project address.

Content you create to document your space: photos and video of the space; audio voice notes; room-scan geometry (measurements and 3-D room data captured using your device's camera, including AR and LiDAR sensors where available); typed notes and project goals; measurements imported from a connected laser measuring tool (Bluetooth), where used.

We do NOT: collect payment or financial information in the app (there are no in-app purchases); track you across other companies' apps or websites; use advertising identifiers or serve third-party ads; or sell your personal information.

3. How we use your information

We use the information solely to: prepare and deliver your renovation estimate; analyze the photos, video, and room scans you submit (including using artificial-intelligence analysis — see Section 4) to understand the scope of work; contact you about your estimate and your project; and operate, secure, and improve the Service. We do not use your information for cross-app tracking, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to delivering your estimate and running our business.

4. How your information is processed and shared

Your information is sent to our backend and stored in our database and file storage. We use the following service providers ("processors") strictly to operate the Service on our behalf:

• Supabase — database hosting for your contact details and project records.
• Vercel (Vercel Blob) — file storage for the photos, video, audio, and room-scan files you submit.
• Anthropic (Claude) — artificial-intelligence analysis of your submitted photos and room scans to help us understand the space and draft your estimate. We access Anthropic through its commercial API. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, the content we send is processed only to return the analysis we request and is not used to train Anthropic's models, not used for advertising, and not used for cross-app tracking.

Each processor is contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us, consistent with this policy. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect rights and safety.

5. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to prepare and deliver your estimate and to operate our business, and as required for legal, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes. Active leads and project records are retained for 24 months after your last activity, after which they are deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion sooner (Section 6).

6. Your rights and choices

You can access the information you submitted, correct inaccurate information, delete your information / withdraw consent, and withdraw permission for sensor access at any time in your device Settings (Camera, Microphone, Photos, Bluetooth). Denying a permission may limit features but does not stop you from contacting us.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@tepuiconstruction.com with your request. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.

6a. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

The Service is offered in the United States. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it (the categories are described in Sections 2–4 above); access a copy of the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate personal information; delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions; and not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months. Because we do not sell or share, no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" opt-out is required. To exercise any California right, email info@tepuiconstruction.com. We will verify your request as required by law before acting on it, and we will not discriminate against you for making a request.

7. Permissions we request on your device

• Camera — to photograph your space and scan rooms.
• Microphone — to record voice notes.
• Photo library — to let you attach existing photos.
• Bluetooth — to import measurements from a laser measuring tool, where used.

These are used only for the features described and only when you use them.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to those who need it to serve you.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for homeowners and our team, not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact info@tepuiconstruction.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
